Julissa Rivera-Rey is an attorney at Northwest Family Law. She received her undergraduate degree at Oregon State University and holds a juris doctor degree from Willamette University School of Law. During law school Julissa was Vice President of the Latinx Organization, Treasurer of the Sports Law Society, and an Academic Excellence Fellow. After her first year of law school, Julissa worked at the Department of Justice in the Child Advocacy and Dependency Division until she graduated from law school.
Her experience in juvenile dependency and victim’s advocacy means she is coming in with compassion, a strong work ethic, and a desire to help people navigate difficult times. After meeting the team at Northwest Family Law, she was eager to work with a group of people that are dedicated to their clients throughout the entire life of the case.
Both of her parents served in the United States Military for 23 years, her mother was in the Army, and her father was in the Air Force, so Julissa has lived all over the world but has fallen in love with Washington. In her free time, she likes to hike, play pickleball, read, and find new restaurants.
